EMDR
What does it cost?
Treatment will consist of two types of sessions. Fees vary depending on the session type.
Initial assessment and preparation sessions are £60 for 50 minutes.
EMDR “Reprocessing” sessions are £130 and last up to 2 hours.
Treatment can last on average from 4-8 sessions.
How often do we meet?
Session can be held weekly, fortnightly or at a frequency that suits your needs.
Where do we meet?
Initial sessions are held in Corsham, or online. It is hard to carry out the reprocessing session remotely so these will be organised as face to face sessions.
Can anyone have EMDR?
I only offer EMDR to over-18s however it is important that a person can find safety in their own self first of all. This work is done at the outset and, if a person cannot find the resources to self-soothe with practice, then the EMDR reprocessing stage will not be offered. It also cannot be undertaken by anyone who has experienced psychosis or a brain condition.
