Getting here
Coming from Chippenham, head towards Corsham along the A4 towards Bath. Drive past Priory Street, and Lancefield is on your left hand side. If you reach the Hare and Hounds, you have gone too far.
Heading in from Bath, approach Corsham along the A4. At the Hare and Hounds roundabout, stay on the A4 towards Chippenham. Approx ¼ a mile along, Lancefield Studios is on the right hand side.
Access
Please note: the office is on the first floor of a building and the only access is via stairs. Please
let me know if you need assistance.
Approach the main Lancefield building at the back of the yard. Studio One is in the two floored building above the Pottery Painting cafe, and before you go through a little gate.
If the cafe is closed, the front door (pictured) will be locked. You can wait in your car, outside or on the patio furniture through the gate. I will come down to meet you and let you in at the start of your session.
If the cafe is open, you are welcome to wait in there. Feel free to grab a drink and/or cake and bring to session with you, or just take a seat. Or you can wait in the doorway area if you’d prefer.
Polite notice; please wait downstairs until I meet or call you up. Do not come directly up to the Rewired room, even if the front door is open.
Parking
There are 5 spaces outside Lancefield Studios. You are welcome to use them if they are free. Please park sensibly and only use those with ‘Lancefield Studios Parking’ signs on. Warning - if you park where it states ‘No Parking’, you will have a grumpy business owner to deal with!
On most days, the car park is very busy. Alternative parking can be found on the A4 in designated bays, on Middlewick Lane, along Woodlands, or in the Hare and Hounds car park. My advice would be drive straight to Woodlands as there is always space here; it is a large residential road and only a 3 minute walk away.
For those who are accompanying clients
There is no designated waiting area at Lancefield when the cafe is closed. You are very welcome to wait in the Pottery Cafe when it is open. Alternatively, The Three Brewers on Priory Street is a lovely pub for coffee and cake should you wish to wait elsewhere. Or there is a nice circular walk around Middlewick Lane (approx. 40 mins), into Corsham, or around Corsham Court.
